Lana Del Rey on the Side

In honor of the release of Lana Del Rey’s new album, Honeymoon, I have collected a number of her songs that do not appear on her own albums.

First there is her soundtrack work, “Young and Beautiful” from The Great Gatsby . . .

. . . “Once Upon a Dream” from Maleficent . . .

. . . “Big Eyes” . . .

. . . ans “I Can Fly” from Big Eyes . . .

. . . and “Life Is Beautiful” from the Age of Adaline . .

. . . which many of us hoped would be a bonus track on Honeymoon.  No such luck.

In 2010, Lana Del Rey appeared on Mando Diao’s Unplugged show on European MTV to sing their song “Chet Baker” . .

. . . and duet on “Gloria” (not the classic Them song covered by so many garage bands):

Also appearing on the show was Juliette Lewis, who would later harshly criticize Lana Del Rey’s infamous SNL appearance before later changing her tune.

Lana Del Rey did a cameo on Bobby Womack’s last album:

She also appeared on Emile Haynie’s solo album:

Of course, Haynie co-produced much of Del Rey’s Born to Die album.

And just recently, Del Rey sang with The Weeknd:

Finally, Cheryl Cole recorded the Del Rey-written “Ghetto Baby:
