How to Dress Well, AKA Tom Krell, has posted a great new mix on his Soundcloud page:
The mix includes Kendal Johansson’s cover of “Blue Moon,” a song from one of my favorite albums of all time, Big Star’s Third/Sister Lovers (not to be confused with the similarly titled Rodgers and Hart classic). The accompanying video offers the same sort of odd, but stylish Swedish tribal images as those of Sincerely Yours labelmates jj:

. . . describes his oeuvre in general. Many of Krell’s recordings sound a bit like hearing Prince’s “Purple Rain” through thick covers pulled over your head to block out encroaching morning sunlight.
