Nocturnes

Nocturne/s sure is a popular album title of late.

Last year Wild Nothing released their second album of retro dream pop:
Nocturne, Wild Nothing
At the beginning of this summer Little Boots danced in Kylie Minogue’s footsteps to the sounds of neo-house/disco:
Nocturnes, Little Boots
Two weeks later came an album from William Basinski released two long, droning tracks that sound like the creepy organ emanating from the abandoned pavilion in Carnival of Souls heard on the wind whistling far across the salt flats:
Nocturnes, William Basinski
And coming soon is Dark Seed‘s original soundtrack for an imaginary movie:
Nocturnes, Dark Seed
